A "Friend of ACWA" is a nonpublic organization that promotes and supports ACWA's members through the products and services it provides.
Affiliate "Friend of ACWA"
Affiliates are typically mutual water companies. However, an Affiliate can also be any private,
nonprofit mutual water company or other private nonprofit organization
created and operated for the purpose of controlling, treating, acquiring,
using or supplying water for any purpose within California.
Affiliate Services
All affiliates receive:
- ACWA's biweekly newsletter ACWA News
for your board of directors, general manager and up to three other
people with your agency.
- Subscription to Washington Report. This biweekly
update will provide you with the latest information on federal
legislative, regulatory and political development that affect
your agency.
- One FREE copy of ACWA's annual Summary
of Legislation. This publication summarizes all enacted
legislation ACWA followed during the prior year.
- Have access to ACWA's eDirectory. This directory provides
you with complete listings for all ACWA members, as well as contact
information for all state and federal legislative and regulatory
offices that you need.
- Receive discounted "Advantage" rates on all ACWA-sponsored
events and publications
