SBVWCD Launches Unique Habitat Plan Under Rare Safe Harbor Agreement

SAN BERNARDINO VALLEY WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT – SEP 21, 2020

In a first for the region, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) awarded a  Safe Harbor Agreement to the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District (SBVWCD) to temporarily remove the kangaroo rat from its degraded habitat in order to restore it – a  move designed to save the local population.

Zone 7 Rolls Out Ozonation Water Treatment Process

ZONE 7 WATER AGENCY – SEP 1, 2020

Zone 7 Water Agency announced that it has substantially completed the Ozonation Project at the Del Valle Water Treatment Plant and the system is now online. “Ozonation is a proven, successful treatment method that will improve our water, making it cleaner, safer and better tasting – straight from the tap.”
