Most recently, he worked at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, an organization that provides at-cost power to 42 million people across 48 states. “We are incredibly fortunate in being able to bring Ian into ACWA,” said ACWA Executive Director Dave Eggerton. “He has an exceptional combination of relevant experience, the utmost professionalism, and the personality and demeanor to excel in this position. He knows California water policy and many of our member agencies.” Lyle has experience testifying before Congress, engaging news media, speaking at numerous congressional roundtables, and planning and executing dozens of conferences. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to become part of the exceptional ACWA team,” Lyle said. “ACWA and its members are on the leading edge of efforts to address the many challenges facing public water agencies. I am excited to join this critically important effort.” He will be attending ACWA’s 2024 Spring Conference & Expo in Sacramento and looks forward to getting to know more of ACWA’s members.
