ACWA Produces New Resources for Members by ACWA Staff Nov 18, 2022 Water News ACWA has prepared its “2022 Summary of Legislation” and “2022 Summary of Appellate Cases” resources and posted both online to for the benefit of members. Member login is required to access and download both resources. The “2022 Summary of Legislation” provides information on legislation that was signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom during the second year of the 2021-’22 Legislative Session that will impact ACWA members. Code sections and bill and chapter numbers are provided for each measure for reference. The “2022 Summary of Appellate Cases” highlights 2021-’22 court decisions that might be of interest to member agencies and their legal counsel. The publication was prepared by members of the ACWA Legal Affairs Committee and other attorneys from the water community. It includes summaries of cases related to water, transparency, employment, rates and the California Environmental Quality Act, among other topics.
