LCRR Inventory Industry Guidance Document Available by ACWA Staff Mar 17, 2023 Water News WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Association of California Water Agencies joined the California Municipal Utility Association and others to create an industry-led guidance document on lead service line inventories pertaining to the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR). The document aims to fill gaps between the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidance released last August and State Water Board materials covering the inventory requirements. The industry-led guidance is meant to help water systems comply with the LCRR’s requirements by Oct. 16, 2024. Topics include: Completing and updating the lead service line inventory Lead service line replacements State Water Board provisions; and Funding The industry guidance document is available on ACWA’s website.
