Western Water Rolls Out New Look by Western Water Apr 14, 2023 Member Submitted News RIVERSIDE – Along with the change in seasons and the emergence of Spring, Western Municipal Water District (Western Water) is revealing its new look to the community. The newly designed logo affirms Western Water’s commitment as a trusted, engaged, high-quality, and reliable steward of the region’s most fundamental life-giving resource—water and wastewater service. Customers will notice a new logo comprising two “Ws” with a water droplet at the center. This design drives home the heart of Western Water’s operations – water and service. The commitment to providing customers with an exceptional experience as well as helping both customers and the community connect with their water provider is further underscored through the new tagline, “Powered by water. Driven by service.” “Having the community engaged throughout this process was the most important part of creating this vision for how Western Water can engage with our customers into the future,” said Western Water Board President Mike Gardner. “The new look represents an updated, modern reflection of our mission to reliably protect, secure and deliver this precious resource, water, at great value and quality to enable our communities to thrive.” General Manager Craig Miller said, “Over the next year, the community will see this new look incorporated into employee uniforms, service vehicles, facility signage, and community outreach materials. We want to be sure that our customers are aware of these changes so they can easily identify representatives of Western Water who occasionally conduct work in their neighborhoods.” The overall look is inspired by Western Water’s key values: reliability, innovation, service excellence, public trust, fiscal responsibility, and efficiency. The colors and design come together to echo the movement of water and the multiple types of water provided to the region including drinking water, recycled water, and wastewater.
