ACWA represents over 450 public water agencies responsible for the delivery of over 90% of the water used for residential, commercial and agricultural purposes in California. We recognize the Draft Handbook will serve as a helpful, technical resource that can aid local water agencies in their water management efforts. We also appreciate that DWR extended the public comment period to allow additional time to provide input on the Draft Handbook.
