This comment letter (Comment Letter) is intended to provide constructive and comprehensive recommendations to the State Water Board to meaningfully advance water use efficiency, address urban retail water suppliers’ constraints and concerns, and build on local and regional successes. We respectfully request the State Water Board’s thoughtful consideration of our comments and recommendations, as supported by agency specific oral and written comments. We ask for the opportunity to work collaboratively with the State Water Board over the duration of the rulemaking to revise the draft Regulation to incorporate input from interested parties to support successful local and regional implementation.
